Support for our library is generated through municipal support, individual donations, business or organization donations, and fundraisers held on its behalf. Our goals are to constantly improve services to meet the community's needs, hire professional staff, and build a future new facility. We strive to meet guidelines recommended by the state and actively participate in district and county library endeavors.
We serve the Lakeview Community and are grateful for the support we receive.
Join our 2024 Annual Campaign! Make it a goal to support the library at any time during the year. Click the Donate button above or the Printable Donation Form button below to get a printable form.

We are looking for people to advocate for and serve the library in the Lakeview Community. Community Volunteers may offer their talents to fundraising and community events. This could include such things as baking, organizing, set-up, selling tickets, or many other activities. Time commitments vary and can be for a day event or offering more time to help organize events. To be a community volunteer, simply provide your contact information with us so we may share it with those organizing events.
Dedicated individuals can work at the Circulation Desk or assist with programming. We ask that these volunteers devote a minimum of 8 hours per month and possess basic computer skills. They must also complete the PA required clearances below, FREE for volunteers.
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (CY113)
You will need to create a Keystone ID in the Child Welfare Portal and follow the instructions.
Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check (SP4-164)
Additionally, a fingerprint-based federal criminal history (FBI), submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent if the volunteer has not been a resident of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the entirety of the previous 10 years, is required.
For more information on these clearances, visit http://keepkidssafe.pa.gov/
